MATERIAL SPECIFICATION
2W/3W Composite Floor Decks are
manufactured using BHP Z275 G300 galvanized steel sheets. Z275 refers to an average zinc
coating of 275 g/m2 (total both sides, triple spot method), meeting the specifications of
ASTM A525 G90; G300 to a minimum yield strength of 300 MPa, surpassing the specification
of ASTM A446 Grade C. If new material specification numbers issued by the ASTM in 1994 for
galvanized products are used, BHP Z275 G300 galvanized steel sheets meet or surpass ASTM
A653 SQ Grade 40 (275) with coating G90.
